My career as a fiber and felt artist began early in my life. From a very early age I began tearing up old garments to try to hand stitch teddy bears and toys. Not to mention my love of drawing, art, and crafting of any kind.

I spent years working in the print and publishing industry. I’ve done everything from running printing presses to graphic design and some things in between! All along creating in my spare time. I work in many mediums, but working with felt and embroidery is my absolute favorite!

What started as arts and crafts time with my kids quickly evolved into something beautiful. I began to make hand stitched wool felt toys for my kids. After making one, my son would ask me to make another, and another. I began to learn that I really loved crafting these little treasures. And he loved receiving them.

Now my days are filled with brainstorming new toy ideas with the kids, then creating them from scratch. I began creating patterns for these creations so that I could pass on the joy of creativity to others.

I know my toys are enjoyable and fun for kids to play with, because my kids helped imagine them. These toys are kid tested, and kid approved!
