When looking at my art one of the things you are seeing is my learning process.  I’m mostly self-taught. Which includes welding, blacksmithing and what I know
about “art”, composition, contrasts, negative and positive spaces two- and three-dimensional works even art history.

I’ve found a constant means of expression during my journey: The use of metal found objects for sculpture. Useful art -upcycling all kinds of different metal.
Blacksmithing, using a mix of traditional and modern tools and methods to produce useful art for the home.

Change. It’s inexorable and most of my work changes and evolves and even wears out by simply rusting away. I like rust, as a really slow agent of change. Most of my sculptures actually live outside and have varying degrees of a gorgeous rust patina. I seldom paint my work.
